Our Woodchipping Service
Aborcare wood chip contractors now offer a contract wood chipping service to turn low grade round or slab wood into a quality wood chip fuel for biomass boilers. Our mobile chipping service is primarily aimed at providing a cost effective solution for customers with their own wood resources.
Equipment
The wood chipper is fed with its own Kesla 700T Loader 8m crane and is powered by one of our large tractors. With its 20 blades the woodchipper wiill produce both Onorm G30 and G50 grade uniform wood chip suitable for use in domestic and commercial wood chip boilers. This is a high output machine chipping between 20 and 30 tonnes per hour. It is capable of processing hardwood timber up to 400 mm in diameter and softwood up to 560 mm in diameter. We can also offer transport from the chipping site to the wood chip store using tractors and trailers if it is required. We run a versatile range of mobile elevated work platforms which we use for our Arboricultural works, which also enables us to offer our services in respect of chimney maintenance and cleaning of domestic and commercial buildings.
We supply quality barn seasoned fire logs, which are sold by the cubic meter at competitive rates.We supply wood chip mulch by the cubic meter for use in garden beds and fresh wood chip for use on paths. It is also suitable for use to provide dry pedestrian access at events when the weather is inclement.
